SOUTH AMERICA AND AFRICA
Ex: Angola, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Peru, etc.
The yellow fever vaccine is mandatory in African countries and South America such as in Brazil.

- The traveler's diarrhea vaccine (Dukoral) may also be offered to all travelers who wish to obtain additional protection during their stay.
- It is important to know that malaria is present in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Africa, and some countries in Central and South America. A drug may be prescribed for you in prevention.
SAUDI ARABIA
A vaccination certificate is required for individuals who are traveling to Saudi Arabia during the Hajj or Umrah period. This certificate is valid for a period of 3 years. It needs to have been issued more than 10 days prior to your arrival in the country.
Here are the recommended vaccines in this country:
- Yellow Fever vaccine, required to enter the country
- Flu Vaccine, mandatory for all travelers during the Hajj period.
- Hepatitis A Vaccine
- Hepatitis B Vaccine
- Tetanus-Diphtheria vaccine
- Meningococcal vaccine, required for Hajj and Umrah
- Polio vaccine, required for Hajj and Umrah
- Measles-Rubella-Mumps Vaccine
If, upon your return, you have a health problem related to your stay abroad, consultation with a clinic doctor is covered by the RAMQ.
